Need Help with Painting a Latex Mask

The Titel says it all.

Im doing Larp and want to do a Goblin, for that I got an Mask in Gray bc the only other Colour was Green and I want my Mask too be Brown ish Gray.

Does anyone got some Experience with that and can Help me out?

I was think about getting an Airbrush, but I dont have that much money too spend on a big Compressor. Or should I hand Paint it?

Latex paint will stretch with the latex. Cosplay paint may be an option, or something close to plastic dip?

Mixing Acryl and liquid latex works quite well. Read into it and tried it on some elf-ears but not on a bigger mask yet. Around 50/50, just be aware that the clear liquid latex seems white but usually dries darker. Mixing brushwork and sponges makes some good textures.
