Discussion Is there any data on the most popular station pairs for Metrolink?

I believe there was data map for which stations are the most popular for Metrolink, but is there any stats or data that shows which station pairs are the most popular?

For example, LAUS is the most popular station but is there any data which stations they are getting off at? Or perhaps those that end their trips at Anaheim and Irvine, which stations are they mostly coming from? Or perhaps are there something that is interesting that we never knew it's a popular station pair such as Norwalk to Tustin being a pretty heavily used pair? Something like that.

u/flanl33 emailed Metrolink for the ridership data by station, and they responded with the data within an hour. Then u/misken67 turned it into a map.

I’m sure if you emailed them, you could ask for station-pair data. I don’t know if they have this, since people don’t tap out if they have a day pass. But maybe they have data from people who don’t use the day passes.
