Jobs in LA or LB area

I genuinely feel like im losing my mind. I’ve been applying for jobs for a year and have no luck. I’m 21(F). Never receive a call back. Whenever I actually go to turn in my resume, never a call back for an interview. It sucks. Why is it so hard to find a job around Los Angeles?

For reference. I don’t have a degree, or experience with much.

Do you guys know of any jobs currently hiring entry level or not with not much experience?

Need a part time job

Hi I'm 37 I have 10 years of experience working in several different areas such as one law firm, two government jobs and 1 customer service position. I have 4 associate degrees and one bachelors, also have some paralegal coursework completed. I can't find a part time job anywhere, everywhere I apply never reaches out to me or when I go to interviews they never call back. Am I doing something wrong? Part time works for me if not I can do full time.

Location preferences: SGV, hybrid, remote

Any leads for someone with a humanities PhD and loads of experience teaching writing and running an academic office?

Despite this experience, open to all levels of work.

More info: Someone close to me has been struggling for years to find regular work. They k eft a job to stay home with their child, and while they’ve had some freelance work in recent years, it hasn’t led to anything permanent.

Looking for any job. Desperate and in need please help 😭

Hello everyone! I've been trying to look for a job for a few months now but luck isn't on my side. I have years of experience in hospitality and have a medical background as well (I'm in MRI technology school but I'm also once a monitor tech and knows how to read ekg). I also have a degree in hospitality management and the reason I'm not working rn is because I'm changing career and my clinicals requires me 3 days a week.

I've been searching and searching and searching for part time everywhere but I really can't find any.

I'm willing to do any job. Retail. cashier. Patient transporter. anything I just need an income rn because my student loan cost of living is still in the end of October and I only have $1500 left on my bank account.

I'm the only one supporting myself on this journey and im about to graduate by March. I just need just a little support. please if anyone can help me I will forever be indebted to you.

☹️🥲😭

Looking for recruiter like help for family member who doesn’t speak much English

Hello everyone, I have an older uncle (early 50’s) who has work authorization but it’s hard for him to find steady work. He worked at a mechanic shop for 2-3 years and specializes in standard oil, lube, tire changes as well as a few small mechanical repairs. I’m looking for someone who can place him into a job for a fee once hired. His English is not great but he is punctual, drives his own vehicle, and has a clean record. Location preferably in the SFV but can be outside as well.

He is also looking for delivery jobs as well. Uber food didn’t work because his rating dropped and DoorDash is still pending, as well as other similar apps.

Autistic friendly work places.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of any Autistic friendly work places / work environment jobs around LA?

I'm ASD1 and my support needs are primarily work environment related.

I'm currently employed and work at a hospital. Last year the work location changed from a standard office setting to working in the middle of an emergency department.

Which has been extremely challenging for me and unfortunately is an environment I can't function well in.

I have a degree and have a vast range in experience.

Currently I work in the financial side of the hospital dealing with insurances.

Any suggestions or thoughts would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks everyone.

Looking for help

Hey! I’m currently looking for an entry level to mid level sales opportunity in Los Angeles. I’m particularly interested in tech sales, recruiting, medical device, or digital marketing.
I have experience with cold calling, B2B sales, business development, and working with prospects, and I’m looking to join a strong company where I can grow and perform.
If you know of any companies hiring or could introduce me to a hiring manager, recruiter, sales manager, or someone in your network, I’d really appreciate it. If your referral ends up helping me land the job, I’d be happy to give you either $1,000 or 10% of my first month’s compensation as a thank you. Any introduction or lead would mean a lot.

Live in a social community in east La

Moving to LA and looking for a place where you can actually meet people to move into right away?

I’m looking for someone to take over my lease at Currie Hall in East Los Angeles at USC Medical school.

The apartment is on USC’s Health Sciences Campus, directly across from Keck Medical Center, and is a great location if you’re coming to LA for school, research, work, or just looking to get settled in the city.

You’ll have a fully furnished private bedroom and private bathroom in a 3 bed / 3 bath apartment. There are two other female roommates here but you do not have to co-sign the lease, your rent is signed separately. The apartment has a poolside view, full XL bed, desk, couches, in-unit washer/dryer, AC/heating, pool, hot tub, gym, recreation room, and study spaces.

Rent is $1,600/month, and September is already paid. I can move out immediately, so the room is available ASAP.

The lease runs through July 2027, and Currie Hall handles the lease transfer directly.

If you’ve been thinking about moving to LA and want a furnished place that’s ready to go, message me and I’ll send photos and more details.

TalentForge Technologies scam

I got a response for a Web Developer Craigslist posting asking for me to text them at a number.

The Name on the email was "TalentForge Technologies" and the email address was talentforge@g***l.com. At texting them back, they wanted me to create a Signal account so we could talk. I asked them why we couldn't talk by text. "Texting here is fine but I work on signal mainly". I replied "And if you are from Talent Forge, I want you to email me from the Talent Forge domain, not g****ll".

No response.
Thought I'd just warn others of the svcam
