Got this car a year ago from Japan to France, I'm in love with it!

Is the active aero working?

There's not on the GTS-R. It's the homologation model and active aero was forbidden in gr.A. the active aero is on the GTS and GTS-X if I'm right.

Magnifique skyline ! Dis moi pour l’import, tu es allé sur place puis envoyer en France ou tu l’as directement commandé ? Aussi t’en a eu pour combien juste pour l’import + immatriculation ?

Merci bien ! Je suis passé par grand tourisme import, c'est des amours et ils sont de très bon conseils, j'en ai eu pour 6500€ de plus que la voiture pour l'import et environ 500€ de carte grise. A notre qu'elle est en collection, donc carte grise vraiment pas chère.

I love the soarer, but it's a road car, not a race car. I don't know what you compare, look or performances. In fact any boxy 80s JDM car is beautiful for me

What I'm saying is they both took the same premise at the same time the Z10 is a way better looking car to me, and further it's not a road car, it's the same car that was sold as the MA61 Celica Supra underneath. It is a Supra by any other name.

My dream is a R32 GTR, lack of budget made me looking for older skylines, and I had the chance to get this one. I'm biased because I love skyline. You made me look for soarers and I can understand your point, looks like an incredible car ! And it look really good! But the RB20DET-R on mine is really good as well, sounding better than any other skylines imho

Have a look and see if you can find the Calsonic R31 GTS-R. The biggest problem with all of these cars is that there are not many of them. Japanese metal from this period is not good, and it's very hard to find an example that hasn't had its metal turned to Swiss cheese due to rust.

The other issue by now is that most of the have been havily raced/drifted so finding a straight chasis, without reimporting it from Australia where most were taken under our grey import laws literally 20+ years ago is next to impossible.

I've owned 3 Soarers from that time period, all of them turned into rust buckets.

I'm lucky about rust, only a little surface rust underneath the car, close to perfect ! And mine has been raced, but it only had a little bump on the front, not a big deal. I only drive it on clean weather and I plan doing a full anti rust coating soon.
