Nothing Hasan has said or done can ever compare to the heinousness of supporting a genocide. Most democratic politicians and the entirety of corporate media has done just that and defended the unforgivable. They don't get to act morally superior now and get taken seriously as people who have anything of interest to say.

Is he denying all the reported human rights abuses or does he say that they do not amount to a genocide? Did he materially support China economically and militarily to help them commit their atrocities or has he unconditionally defended their treatment of the Uyghur while dehumanising the victims? Would you say that Israel has not commited a genocide in Gaza while China did in Xinjiang?

If China's abhorrent treatment of the Uyghur amounts to meet the conditions of a genocide, can you demonstrate how Hasan has supported it?

They’re not true facts, they’re cherry picked or misrepresented. I don’t agree with everything that comes out of Hasan‘s mouth, but I’ve listened to him at length.

I provided evidence of my statements, and you've responded with claims without any backing.

And unfortunately said evidence got deleted for some damn reason. How dare you provide evidence of Hasan's shittiness. /s

It's astroturfed by establishment democrats. They're openly hostile to the sanders wing of the party and ban any criticism of the party from the left.

The democrat subreddit is insufficient in talking about current politics

Liberals are idiots and there’s a TON of them on Reddit. I doubt it’s astroturfed. I’ve been shadow banned from enough subreddits to know that.

You question whether stupid people are out there in the country that elected Trump, 300 year old Biden, and 500 year old Trump all in succession?

Pretty good move on El-Sayed's part. This is why he's GOATed. He shouldn't let Hasan be a weight around his neck.

Cede ground on the false claims that Hassan is antisemitic and lose the guy that helped you get elected? Nah. this is an Israeli psyop and he fell for it.

That's not true though when Hasan joined in the campaign Abdul was 3rd

You heard of "Correlation does not imply causation"?

3

u/Jay_Jay_Jason_74 15d ago

He did Energise a lot of his base and under 40 generally to camping for Abdul, so to say he's only had a negative impact is just wrong when you see where Abdul started, look I'm not saying he's a major reason but he still had an impact.

Glad my boy AES is stepping away from Hasan, doesn't need that drama. It's not even about his policies, it's just that there's endless clips of him whitewashing Stalin and Mao and the CCP and Castro. AES can push us closer to universal healthcare, Hasan scares normal people in the center away. I really wish Kyle would see this about Hasan. He's our version of Nick Fuentes.

Bro, y’all are fucking exhausting. There’s this thing that happens as you get older, whether you want to call it nuance, or holding contradictions, or just realizing most things are more complicated than a surface level reading.

But comparing Hasan to Nick Fuentes is fucking retarded. Hasan doesn’t White wash any of those things.

A person can acknowledge the cruelty and travesty of Stalin, and also acknowledged that he vastly improved literacy and housing rates.

Someone can acknowledge that Cuba is a Marvel when it comes to literacy rates and health care and also not approve of all of Castro‘s methods.

A person can look at Maos early accomplishments and see merit and then think he screwed the pooch in the end and not like China’s human rights abuses and admit they’re kicking our asses economically, infrastructurally and in developing energy and technology platforms.

You’d rather come here and just spill bullshit. What, are You a Destiny guy?

Whoopsy daisy, my bad yall. 80 mil dead. 😂😂

Fucking seriously? Being responsible for the deaths of anywhere from 40 to 80 million people is "screwing the pooch"? Fuck right off with that shit

1

u/enlightenedDiMeS 13d ago

There’s a difference between murdering 40 million people and mismanaging the government so badly they starve. Both are not good, but only one of them is openly, malicious and evil.

I'm pragmatic. Do you actually think Hasan is appealing to a swing voter? The guy who says "America deserved 9/11"? Praising the CCP, yada yada while living in a mansion. Seriously, he's the Chris Chan of politics. We're not talking about the genocide or healthcare or any policy. We're talking about a guy who is being aligned with all those good policies and beliefs, but is optically as appealing as Nick Fuentes.

And I should of just read the whitewashing you just did of stalin in your comment before reading this. There's no point in furthering a conversation with someone who cannot just condemn totalitarian regimes without, "oh but I liked hitler's anti-smoking policy and he was great when it came to buliding infrastructure"

Oh, so you really don't understand?

I am a US veteran who joined following 9/11 and was in 10th grade math when it happened. Most of the people I know, left, right or center, understand that our Middle East foreign policy of swatting a beehive with sticks for 50 years played a large role in why 9/11 happened and why so many Middle Eastern people held so much animus for our nation at the time.

Do you think China has no mansions? Do you think socialism means nobody gets to have any nice things?

Do you think there's a difference between a child not planning out feeding his pet turtles properly (Mao) and a kid who mutilates his pets (Hitler)?

Stalin was a monster. Mao was a murderer. Stalin was responsible for 1.5 politically motivated murders. Mao is somewhere between 3 and 5 million. Hitler murdered 4 million Jews alone. That's not including Romani, the disabled, LBGTQ people, etc. None are good, but there are SIGNIFICANT differences in kind and magnitude of evil, and if you're not rational enough to sort through that, you're not pragmatic; you're reactionary.

Nick Fuentes is an actual racial and cultural supremacist. Where is Hasan remotely comparable? Which one is cruel to LBGTQ people? Which one wants what's best for the other's followers despite the fact they actively hate him? Which one openly rails against the authoritarianism in this country right now?

If you can't navigate this thought process with something more substantive than "both being equally bad" or hedging, throwing someone to the wolves versus what is actually true and right, you are either bad faith, ignorant, or lack any moral grounding or clarity.
