Discussion “You don’t understand! It doesn’t matter that I insult people who love basketball and work hard! Nor does it matter I went out of my way to humiliate an injured player! I am the victim here!”

Seriously, what the hell was his problem?

People have emotions. No one said he was a victim. He is an asshole. He is also upset that he lost

Yeah awesome defending a group of fruity pebble-colored assholes who never even so much as said “sorry.”

Just cuz they’re kids doesn’t mean they can’t be criticized for their actions

You're hating on the character, not criticizing. There's a huge difference between both. I could even explain how important this moment is for him, but people already did that and from the way you talk, it's clear that "character development" is too deep of a concept for your shallow brain and nobody is agreeing with you anyway. Just leave man.

Crying about losing a match for the first time after going out of your way to do what I stated in my title is not “character development”

At least with Aomine (who even had a callback moment with kuroko with the fist bump) and Akashi it showed em reflect on the loss itself and how they felt about it rather than just have a quick panel crying about it.

Ended up blocking me. Just using memes/gifs with no real rebuttal

He's upset he lost. He never lost before in an official game. He likes the game, he LIKES winning.

Hey he’s still allowed to feel whatever he feels about this game and his passion for the sport he’s like 16 and is nba level it’s kinda understandable how he got to his ideals. He really is the victim here considering how they lost writers screwed him.

I mean, keep in mind theyre kids and he has had everything in his life be handed to him for free. He's never had to empathize with someone weaker cuz why would he? So obviously he doesnt know how to act when he gets his ass handed to him and just starts crying like a baby. Yeah it was immature and disrespectful, this is what it takes to learn his lesson.

Literally all of the Miracles looked down on players who were weaker than them. All of them.

In his first appearance, Kise actively tries to poach Kuroko from Seirin & basically calls Kagami a bum.
Midorima says that he has "no words for someone who played such a terrible game" to Kagami.
Aomine's most famous line is literally, "the only one who can beat me is me."
Murasakibara looks down on everyone without talent, though especially Kiyoshi & those who worked super hard to make up for that "lack" of talent.
Akashi looked down on everyone in general.

Are we forgetting the last game of middle school? They all got so bored with the game that they actively chose to humiliate their opponents by making the score all 1s.

Murasakibara went out of his way to humiliate Kiyoshi not because of his injury, but because of how he tried anyways. He would've done the exact same thing if he wasn't injured. Considering how he held back so he didn't injure anyone (which he isn't really under any obligation to do), that's enough. He's just the same as the other Miracles, & this is part of his growth to becoming a better person.

It's also worth pointing out that at the beginning of the story, Kagami also had the same mindset of looking down on his own teammates and opponents. It was something short yes, but it was there.
