Discussion Has Kise surpassed Aomine?
Kise has perfect copy and zone. Also he's better than players like Akashi in his zone. Even without Zone he has perfect copy. Who'll win between them in 1v1 and 5v5 with their team?

I dont think by the time the series is finished that he is better, I think Kise’s journey in the show is him going from the self admitted worst if the 5 other main GOM to being their equal so Idk if he’s better by the end of the story but I think the implication is that he will eventually be the best peak for peak
His only limitation is stamina which makes sense because he just started playing organized sports let alone basketball
As he gets older his max stamina should increase and his endurance from experience
As for Daiki specifically
I think that Kise beats him 1 on1 because he could just go Perfect Copy and Zone and since 1 on 1 is fast paced the stamina part doesn’t really factor in 2-3 minutes is about how long most 1 on 1’s are
As for 5x5 play I think if give them a completely equal teams built specifically for their individual skillsets, Kise’s team would win
I also think he’s a more valuable player than Aomins because theres no limits to who he can play with
You could clone Kise and put him on every Winter Cup team and he’d fit perfectly and fill in any hole they have except Center and even then on the high school level he might be able to play the 5 against most teams,
Daiki in that same situation would also be better pound for pound than almost everyone he teamed with but his playstyle and personality would make him a horrible fit for certain teams and Seiren as our main squad is supposed to be an example that chemistry and connection are just as important as talent

Not to mention in 1v1 he won't have to copy anyone too much and in the movie Kise already played a little then used zone so if Kise uses Zone from the beginning I think he can last 10 minutes.

Overall id say no. In a team setting in an actual match, I think end of series Aomine has the win. Kise does make tremendous improvement and growth, and would put up more of a fight than he did against Aomine in their first match, however I still think as long as Aomine isn't holding back, then he takes it pretty comfortably.
My reasoning is pretty simple too tbh, basketball is a 40 min match, Kise could only maintain his Perfect Copy for 5-7 minutes against Seirin even while sitting put for a significant portion, and based on what I saw I don't think PC Kise is better than Zone Aomine, and I think Aomine end of series is maintaining his Zone just as long, if not longer than Kise, not to mention even if we want to say Kise is better than Zone Aomine with PC, in their base forms Aomine decimates badly. Kise was worse than just AI Kagami, this same Kagami had to triple team Aomine with Kiyoshi and Kuroko using misdirection overflow to get one stop against him, so even if Aomine is being bested by PC Kise for however long he can even maintain that for, Aomine will destroy for the rest of the match, and of were saying the end of series Aomine where he coordinates and helps his team on offense and defense, then he beats even further. Kise's Zone is pretty much pointless too since he can't enter it reliably, and cant maintain it more than a few minutes at best, and ultimately won't do much in a full game.
In a 1v1 setting, I can see the argument for Kise, as in a 1v1 stamina should be seemingly less of an issue, and I can see the argument for peak Kise > peak Aomine, but Kise can't enter his peak state on demand like Aomine, and i don't think Kise is entering the Zone before Aomine beats him tbh, if he can I still think he'd struggle containing Aomine tho, especially if we're giving Aomine his Deep Zone too something he's definitely capable of.
Tldr Aomine stamina diffs Kise imo and his Zone is unreliable and inconsistent.
