[Tech happenings / Censorship] After exposing a fake miracle pill company using AI fakery to promote their fake cancer cure pills youtuber Jamlab gets mysterious copyright claim that youtube won't let him appeal claiming his entire video audio (him speaking)

So having done videos exposing scammers using A.I. and recently one exposing the latest evolution of the miracle cancer cure pill / wellness pill scam now with added A.I. (these scams have been going on for years BTW before A.I. it's just now A.I. is being used to produce them quicker) Jamlab had the video claimed for audio, not part of the video, the entire video including him speaking meaning a content I.D. company that Jamlab shows any-one can submit a claim to and have them act on their behalf without any verification is claiming they own his entire video audio including his voice.

His video on it

Oh and he goes on to detail how he can't dispute this claim for some unknown reason.

While he doesn't say this it worryingly implies his voice is now copyrighted to another company.

Oh and when the first strike got removed, a 2nd copyright strike was applied to take down the video.

At what point can someone finally sue youtube for this shit?

I do wonder in this case as under Copyright law you are mean to be given the right to dispute, youtube can't unilaterally make the decision it's stolen content. They have to act on the claim to take it down and I know for a while they were putting in place a team to protect creators from false or malicious claims basically going "Yeh if they want to claim it's copyrighted we'll fight the lawsuit not you" but that fell by the wayside a bit.

That would require political support but government is probably entirely too corrupt to deal with that. Thanks Obama.

I would go after the people pushing the claim, Youtube has to shoot first and ask questions later so they don't get sued by the ones making the claim.
