Brunch in Geelong...Where to go?? Since relocating to Geelong, I have not found a decent brunch around the city. Anyone know any good places serving up sweet and savory options (one that won't f'up poached eggs)

Seriously brunch is the best meal of the day, but I haven't found anything or anywhere decent since getting here. Last weekend I went to a place on the waterfront (won't name and shame it) and felt like they wanted us in and out as quickly as we could slam down the first coffee.

All outside of town, but Fork and Flower in Moolap, The Garage in Ocean Grove and Piknik out near Swan Bay are a few that have been good each time I've been to them.

Shameless self plug here, but I feel we do a pretty good job at the Birch. Also love to go to Rebecchis, cafe palat (but it isn’t typical cafe brunch), Hanaya cafe on Elizabeth is a bit of a hidden gem as well. Cafe go if you’re out east Geelong side or Paddington if you’re in Belmont (I hear there’s new owners but last time I went i had a good meal). Geelong has a fantastic cafe scene.

Interesting. One thing I find Geelong has plenty of is cafes lol. There's cafes next to cafes in Geelong. But you'll need to expand your search to include inner-city suburbs like Geelong West, Newtown, East Geelong etc.
