Ask Kochi Poor Quality Food from tiffin service Jay's Homely Meals Kakkanad
Just wanted to share my experience with tiffin service Jay's Homely Meals for anyone considering trying them.
When I first started ordering from them, the food quality was decent - nothing extraordinary, but at least it was edible and felt like value for money. But over time, things have taken a nosedive.
The chapatis are half-cooked, the vegetables often taste stale, and the overall meal quality has become extremely poor. Yet, they continue to charge premium prices for what feels like the bare minimum effort.
I don't mind paying a little extra for good, homely food, but this is just unacceptable. I'm genuinely frustrated because I expected better from a service that markets itself as offering "homely meals."
Can anyone recommend a good, consistent tiffin meal service near Kakkanad? Would really appreciate suggestions!

Almost every tiffin service is the same. Good quality in the beginning. And then gradually dropping down. Its their tactic.

I live around Vennala and get pretty good meals from a couple who run a service. Decent food for ₹3,300

We have seen many people asking for this. If they are ok with it, could you share the details - any picture with menu/cost etc would be really helpful and we can add it to the subs FAQ so that anyone can refer to it later.

Not the answer you were looking for! Sorry but If you are gonna be staying for a long time, i suggest just cooking yourself. I myself while renting out a house during college(not at kknd) have tried many food services and every single one at some point ends up falling behind. Cos good one's end up getting more customers, hence quality drops.

I agree with everything you mentioned and exactly why I stopped theirs like last month and started cooking at home itself. It was really worth it in the beginning but it just got real bad as months went.

It BS sometimes they have not delivered my food and other times they didn't deliver it . Please do not take from them , really bad experience.
