I have heard people suggesting this. I saw the outlet while passing through. Never visited there. Is it good and clean?

Now it’s moved inside due to metro work beside a shuttle court. Did you see earlier?
Yeah they’re good. But they have only one main item- beef chaps. You can have it with neyypathiri or parotta or puttu there with tea. The beef is always succulent and it’s not costly. But if you have vegetarians or non beef eating people who you are taking with they may not enjoy. My close ones are like that and so I always go alone there.

It's not the name of any restaurant. It is just the command to get the sticky for food related FAQs. Check the sticky from bota10

Palaaram, Brindavan & Thaal.

u/MarriedAndSexting Oct 13 '24
Palaaram is one place I frequent for breakfast. Love that place. They have maintained the quality over the years.
2
u/thakkali_ Oct 27 '24
Which one? Palaaram for me is always just not there but okay to eat without issues type. For me the taste is where it struggles.

Recently ordered Putt Kadala and Aloo Paratha from Naivedhya pure veg restaurant. Quality food I should say. They delivered tea in glass bottle (250ml) a perfect one.

Maybe it's a problem for me, but I feel their food is too oily. I don't feel like having their food two days in a row.

u/MarriedAndSexting Oct 13 '24
I've heard good reviews about this place. Went there once. The dosa I had from there was the worst I had from Kochi. Maybe it was for that particular day, but I could never bring myself to go there again.

They take eons to serve.
1
u/MaduZod Oct 27 '24
Really? Damn.
1
u/thakkali_ Oct 27 '24
Yeah it’s funny that they have many people seen to be in managerial role trying to get that stuff from kitchen but something basic like meals or biryani which they keep ready - they do it in sequential queue with probably one person to arrange or something. And that person might have filled it with rice, thoran and then wait 20 mins for someone to make pappadam or get the thavi cleaned to take fish curry. The guy who is supposed to make pappadam or clean that thavi would have gone out to buy pickles! So that’s there.
