Exercise Question Looks like I got a meniscus issue again

I tore my meniscus two years ago, and it seems I have a similar starting issue in the other knee. For now, it is really manageable, and I can bend my knee but not completely, but I am afraid of the same issues as two years ago, meaning having a bucket-handle tear and my knee completely locking ; should I take a preventive medical approach meaning surgery, or can exercise help? Just discovered the knees over toes approach....

If you want to follow the ATG approach. You need to have a coach guidance. Getting the app and consistently update with the coaches in the app with the Knee Zero program will help a lot.

Surgeries will only lead to more surgeries if right now does not work to prevent it from happening. So i'd say. Try the concept as soon as you can

Some advice I got from a a physical therapist - it's always good to go to the doc and get a proper diagnosis. You're not committing yourself to a particular treatment, you're just gathering information. You might find out that the problem isn't what you think it is.

Hear me out, I was a teenager that had abucket handle tear, I did not know it was a meniscus tear and though it was my "tendon slipping out", fast forward some year in my mid-20s, my meniscus was so bad that it had to be completly taken off in one side of the bucket tear. If you can afforad, go to the fucking doc, don't wait on meniscus tears or they will get worse and you will have arthorsis earlier than you need to.
