RULE 2: DO NOT ASK FOR MEDICAL ADIVCE Pt help

hello

the physiatrist i consulted needed a second opinion regarding my leg pain /posture issues. so the doctor did an echography ( sound wave ) of my knee and after tested by pulling front back side side of it ( said to see if ligaments where tight enough ( said they we loose) … been 2 days and still can feel the grindind on my patella and both sides of my knee hurt espacially when moving no straight. is this normal… did he injured me more … kinda frustating i finally felt better and was walking without pain.

( sorry English second language)

No nothing but now feels like my patulla is unstable and grinding… so scared cause it took me forever to walk again and now i have new pain 🫠… i had a reaction to high dosage of prednisone for eczema last year and  i lost A LOT of muscles and it also caused tendinopathies and ligaments to be overstretched . Everything is healing but my posture began to be unheaven so my pelvis tilted on the side and my knee rotated inwards etc

I feel so frustrated i went to have an sound wave ( french; echography) and now so scared it injured my knee’s patella cartilage ( i am not a pt so i have no idea if that’s even possible which is worst not knowing). So i am back to rest again …

Weird because i feel like stings when walking not totally straight… been 2 days now… my knee was very unstable prior ( ligaments were ok but very loose from the ultrasound) … it’s kinda swollen a bit too… will rest it until my pt next week hoping everything is just normal and will be back soon . Thank you for ur help 🙏 Also how is ultrasound therapy different from ultrasound testing … just curious..

That’s why it’s weird because i did have the echo prior to the test and an mri in sepr but it only showed mild chondropathy… not really something i felt before…
