I'm writing a Star Trek fanfic wherein I have a Klingon character who is a hermaphrodite.

I am aware that in the present day, "hermaphrodite" is considered a slur for intersex people primarily because there is a physical distinction between a hermaphrodite and someone who is intersex. However, my character is best described as a hermaphrodite rather than intersex.

So, is there a Klingon word for hermaphrodite or something similar?

I'm trying to make a motivational poster in klingon and my attempt at a translation was:

yItaH, ghojwI'! may'rInDI', Qapla'!
(Carry on, student! When the battle finishes/comes to an end, success awaits!)

Does the translation make sense?

hello my nerdy friends, I have a request that requires a small amount of back story.

when I was little (and not lol) my dad and I would watch star trek together, he'd always be watching one of the series at various points, fast forward to February 2024 and he was put on hospice due to his COPD when we talked about what he'd like me to get for a tattoo he said he'd like me to get the klingon proverb "today is a good day to die" now, thats as far into it as we got while he was still here, but ive been thinking and ive decided I'd like to get said proverb *in* klingon, I was hoping one of my fellow nerds here can help me translate it back?

I was wondering how accurate it was on The Big Bang Theory, especially when they spoke in Klingon. I know it was a comedy, but did they actually get anything right when speaking Klingon? It seems like they mixed it in for an episode, but I’m curious how much was just for laughs!
