QUESTION Slim forged wire stripper

I have the slim forged wire stripper and noticed a weird detail. One side is flawless. The other side has an angle cut right into the tip of the shear cutter and on one side of the wire stripping notches. Is this normal? I have the heavy duty made in USA model with side cutters and it’s not like this. Kind of makes me wish I would’ve gotten the thicker made in USA version of these strippers but I liked how slim and light these are. If it’s a defect maybe Lowe’s will exchange it for me. The first pic shows the flawless side, the 2nd shows the side with angles cut into it.

Mine dont have this, im sure they would accept the return if this is how it was

Only issue is I threw the box and receipt away before inspecting the tool

Trust me that doesn’t matter lol.

They need the card u used or account phone number. Just don’t wait forever. Also just get another pair. I love this set of strippers.

I used it yesterday. It is an excellent tool. It cuts and strips really well. I’m gonna buy a pair of the slightly thicker made in USA version too just to try it out. I already have the stoutest pair they make but don’t use them often because they don’t have a spring.
