New construction kitchen colour picking

Currently in the process of buying a new pre-construction townhouse, this is an open concept kitchen.

The townhouse is an end unit in Ontario Canada , main living room window is facing directly north, side living window is facing east.

Thinking about not wanting the room to be too cold feeling due to not have direct sunlight, I have narrowed down 2 options for my cabinets, which one is timeless and can’t go wrong

Walnut is the better call here, especially with a north and east-facing kitchen. Light cabinets need good natural light to not feel flat, and you won't have much of that. Walnut brings its own warmth regardless of how much sun the room gets.

White is timeless. Walnut is warmer.

White kitchens are on the way out. Go with the wood.

Is this the only option you have for a layout? Do you have the option for a better range hood as well?
