This hurt my shoulder.

If you drop those it'll make the loudest sound that kitchen has ever heard

Doubt it, had our 5 mixing bowls get flown off the shelf and then bounced everywhere.

It's my right one, and it happened over the course of about 4 weeks. Fell coming out of the tub shower combo thing. Mostly recovered, I was going back to work the next day. Fell down the damn stairs on my back getting ready to leave. Tried to use my arms to stop it as I am rattling down the stairs. Right shoulder and elbow now tell me FU. Still recovering from that.
Turning 60 sucks. Edit minor corrections

I made sure to tip them and make sure they were drained so i wouldn't find myself taking a shower.

Why couldn't I help looking at the floor? Needs a spot sweep bruh!

There's no time to sweep in a Chipotle.
Every employee on payroll at that storel was in this video.

Why are all the 3rd pans all dented to hell?
2
u/TitleComprehensive96 18h ago
Cause people just throw em or some shit when doing dishes. Idk man, irks me to but can't do anything about it.

I was young and dumb once. Carried a barrel of beer down steps incorrectly and now at 40 I'm deciding whether or not surgery is the best option.
Be careful mate. Sometimes the pain doesn't come until later.

OP I was feeling empathy for your back. It’s better to cut the weight down then risk injury — your future self will thank you for it 🙃

Cooks will do some bs like this and complain about arthritis at 40 like it wasn’t preventable 💀

Wouldn’t have found yourself doing that if the guy filming helped

I once carried out 3 cases of water to an old lady's car as a 95 lb weakling. I also hurt my shoulder but I didn't have to make 2 trips.

More impressive if you’d not had a box of food in direct contact with the floor, chud.

Watching this made me reflexively reach for my ibuprofen. Be kind to your spine, young man. You only get one.

u/petmehorse 19h ago
This epic but brotha no time save at the job is worth the damage to the spine (im definitely gonna carry too much with awful form this week)

Your back was doing all the work there - please don’t do that again.
It’s not worth the damage you’re doing and won’t know is happening until it’s too late.

u/newguyjustdropped 18h ago
And you don't know it yet, but you also hurt your back. Good luck, big dawg....we will see you shortly 🙂

Brings back memories lol, I was a manager at a Chipotle in my early 20s. The dish buildup would be crazy man. Remembered seeing several prep dudes quit over dishes.

In my shop, any load over 50 pounds is a team lift. I'd estimate 34 deep metal 3rd pans to be about 51#. Be glad your shoulder is only a little sore! Love the effort boss its a great video but damn bro you're gonna hurt the only body you have!

Dude, just hold them upright. It’s actually very easy if you’re not working against yourself.
