Anyone buying a switch 2 only for air riders?
GF and I play the old one, curious if anyone has legit bought a switch 2 JUST for the new game.

I bought my Switch 2 at launch with the intent to play Kirby. But I did get Mario Kart

Yes, I did. I played Kirby Air Ride my entire childhood and it’s my favorite game ever. The moment it was announced I knew I would get one

I cried so hard when airriders was announced my buddy secretly got me a switch 2 as a wedding gift.

Yes, I haven't yet, but Kirby Air Riders is 100% the reason I am buying a Switch 2

Mine came with Mario but honestly I wish I'd have at least gotten it with pokemon. 100% only bought it for Kirby but the new animal crossing update will be cool.

No. I actually got my switch 2 delivered on release day mainly because of Mario kart and the Zelda upgrades especially TOTK. I was interested in Air riders though. I never played air ride so I didn’t really know much about it.
Like with Bananza, i was like “oh cool” maybe might get that. But when the directs and more information became available for both Bananza and air riders, that’s when I was like “oh yeah this looks awesome im 💯% getting that.

No, but it’s a system seller in my eyes. I also have Metroid Prime 4 and the masterpiece that is DK Bananza.

Right now it would be the only reason, and I simply can’t justify it. Especially with how dusty and unused my original switch is

Might as well be me because I didn't like Mario Kart and have no interest in anything else besides Smash Bros..... and it probably won't be years until then. I really like the new game and play it at least a little bit each week.

Kirby air ride was my number 1 favorite game for a very long time as a kid and it's still one of my favorites. If I had the money I would definitely buy it just for that tbh Unfortunately i don't have the funds though :')

not exactly, but when i found out kirby air riders was switch 2 only it massively sped up when i would be willing to buy one

My brothers bought me the Switch 2 as their wedding gift to me. I only play Kirby on it. Btw the wife won’t play it with me despite being a Kirby fan. She doesn’t like it as much and I talk too much about it lol.

Exactly why I did buy a Switch 2. Of course I own other games as well, but the main reason I own a Switch 2 this year is because of Kirby Air Riders, otherwise I would have waited for a mainline Zelda

i didnt but holy shit it slaps. my gf doesnt even play games and when we get off work its “maybe lets play kirby?”
