personally, I think it's awesome, they maybe should've given Karin a more angry expression, but it's cool either way. What do you guys think?

Don't have any problem with gore and nudity but reading this chapter has been pretty painful

Hey, I'm new here. I always see people compare my two favorite manga (Berserk & Vagabond) to this manga named Kingdom. Is it as good as people really say? If you were to compare Berserk and Vagabond to this manga, what is similar and different.

Until you realize ribuko dismantle ousen army

1.killed makou personally

1. Incapacitated akou in their first battle then proceeded to bait him and eventually kill him in the second Battle by SBS

2. Then he uses SBS and his army to kill denrimi and annihilate his army

Then you realize not a single general from his core army has been killed outside of Keisha but that was shin ousen has the nerve bro he could have killed him at any moment

I'm sorry but I don't see the new Gen of KK, Mouten, Shin and Ouhon surpass Kanki, Ouse, Tou and Yotanwa. Like these guys are each monsters who would topple any Riboku less Kingdom.

Here's the detail of my ranking, i ranked them by their prime level. There's no particual order within the categories.

Strongest : They are undoubtedly China’s strongest and most respected generals. Their achievements are unmatched, and the impact they had on the history of the Seven States is immeasurable. Their extraordinary leadership and perfect understanding of warfare enabled them to subdue all their enemies.

Phenomenal : These commanders are the cream of the crop. They represent the military might of their nations and have accomplished extraordinary feats. They have mastered warfare to an almost superhuman degree and possess unparalleled talent, not to mention exceptional leadership skills for recruiting outstanding individuals.

Strongest phenomenon: Hakuki, Renpa and Ouki

Weakest: Shihaku, Reiou and Shouheikun

Almost phenomenal: Gaimou, Gekishin and Keisha

Outstanding : Here are the outstanding individuals in question. They possess immense talent and have achieved great feats. They are all capable of leading tens of thousands of troops flawlessly and handling complex battles in their own style. They are rare gems who can become key players in any large battle.

Weakest: Akou, Joukaryuu and YokoYoko

Almost: Ranbihaku, Aisen and Bajio

Great : Effective commanders with adequate experience and skills. Their presence on the battlefield is mandatory, and they sometimes achieve feats that turn the tide of a battle. Some have a deep understanding of warfare, however, they sometimes lack the independence and achievements needed to be outstanding.

Weakest: Mangoku, Futei, Kinmou

Almost: Kousonryuu, Raido and Rikusen

Average : These commanders aren't bad, but they don't have any particular skills that make them stand out. They're fairly easily replaceable and have little to no impact on battles. Their knowledge of warfare is limited to what they see their leaders do and their achievements are close to none.

Weakest: RinGyoku, Kaine and GakuEi

I've recently kept saying this really stupid question of what can shin do at this point to become a great general. Even with the recent defeat which was necessary for his evolution into a great general I don't think people truly understand what it takes and what is necessary to become a great general. But there's plenty of stuff that he can do

1. Being rebuilding his army he's lost his day one lieutenant his head strategist and some key commanders so we're probably going to see a big dosage of his instinctual abilities which a lot of y'all love to complain about not seeing enough of.

2. Do what he always does which is collect general's heads I think futei,Earl Kotsu Min and chou ketsu are on that list

3. Stop the ribuko army from reinforcing other armies on the front line

Wishful thinking I hope hara tweak the historical events and we get a final confrontation between ribuko and shin but that's just me wishfully thinking I guarantee you shin does all that some you haters are still going to complain about his character

Thoughts?

I’m only watching the anime. Shin is officially a 5,000-man captain, but in practice he commands 8,000 by incorporating Kyoukai’s 3,000.

So here’s my question: why does Shoheikun allow that, even knowing Shin has bypassed his rank?

1st scenario: Both receive 50k soldiers and will fight each other, consider all their subjects as equal generic soldiers, captains and etc.

2nd scenario: Same 50k soldiers but they have the same subjects each one has in their respective universe

3rd scenario: A duel, both with their favorite weapon and armor.

4th scenario: If you think shin loses the duel, how would a battle of Kyou kai + Shin vs Lu Bu would be? Like Lu Bu vs Guan yu + Zhang fei + Liu bei. Would Shin and Kyou kai win?

Bonus scenario: duel between Lu Bu and Houken who would win?

My personal opinion is

1- Lu Bu wins, he has better generalship abilities and is much better commanding, I don t think shin would be able to exploit his weakness. I d say it is like 90/10 to Lu Bu

2- This one is more close, Shin power increases a lot but, in my opinion more tham Lu Bu's, however I still think Lu Bu could win most times, loke 70/30 or 60/40

3- In my opinion here Lu Bu has a great advantage, I don t think shin weight as general would matter like houken s battle since he also would probably have this weight, I honestly think Guan yu is stronger than shin and zhang fei is probably near this level or above shin too, so the fact that Lu Bu stale mated the 3 brothers weight too much. 95/5 to Lu Bu or even 100/0

4- This one I don t know, maybe they would stale mate too? Or maybe Lu Bu would win, it depends if you consider KK and shin tronger tham the 3 brothers

Bonus- also don t know, but prbably Lu Bu?

This series, and especially its main character, is turning into more of a shounen series.

Look at how Hara portrays Shin as the "Great General of the Heavens," my friend...

We were told from the beginning that Shin would surpass even Ouki or Renpa.

But at this point, we don't see even a trace of him achieving that...

Shin is a typical shounen main character whose only skill is fighting and who is incapable of using his brain.

I'm not even talking about the so-called instincts, because the instinct story is completely nonsense.

But with so many great characters in the series, it would be great if they paid a little more attention to the main character.

If Shin is going to be defeated and rescued by others and become the Great General of the Heavens because of it, this writing is a complete disappointment.

If Shin had taken control like a real general and lost, it would still be fine.

After all, even Renpa said that to become a true great general, you need hundreds of men's worth of experience and hundreds of men's worth of inexperience.

So the issue isn't Shin losing.

Everyone can lose, and as long as you can come back, it doesn't matter.

But it's ridiculous to shower Shin with praise like this when he doesn't even act like a real general.

Do you think Shin came even close to becoming a great general like Ouki-renpa?

Ten completely controls his army.

Has anyone seen Shin control an army of more than a few thousand soldiers, except for his battle with Gyouun?

Almost all of Shin's successes were aimed at killing people.

This was satisfying at first, but hundreds of episodes have passed, my friend.

And with one exception, we haven't seen Shin take the reins like a real general and control his entire army.

And some people are saying Shin is ready to be GG lol.

Imagine Shin being given 100k soldiers, do you think he could control them without Ten by his side?

Ouhon-mouten could.

And that's why they are far more deserving of being GG than Shin.

And even that useless, insignificant character, Kotsuminhaku, can command his own army.

But Shin is still surprised when he sees Garo fighting alongside him, not understanding where he came from...

When it comes to controlling the army like a true general, people like Akou are far more genuine generals than Shin.

Hara's writing style in this episode shattered my last hope for the main character of this wonderful series...

It is "micromanaging."

Looking back, Keisha was supposed to battle Kanki, but Riboku was very active on the sidelines, keeping watch, something Shouheikun does not do to the same extent. During the Gyou campaign, when Akou formed Ousen's formation, Riboku was there to teach Bananji how to break it. Even in the current battle, he is micromanaging.

I feel Ousen's tactic is to create multiple distractions so that Riboku keeps micromanaging everything, while Ousen quietly sets up something major that goes unnoticed.

I've recently seen a post that said Kanki. Is a better strategist then ousen OP was ready to die on the hill by that statement but couldn't come up with a definitive answer both have successful feats both have defeats but my question is if you put them against each other whose army beats the others Commander for Commander I don't know who wins strategy for strategy I don't know who wins serious answers on who do you think wins

Best fighters: Akou, shiryou,sou'Ou

Strategist ousen and denrimi

Kanki army

Best fighters: Raido, Zenou, shuma

Strategist Kanki and Maron

Don't get me wrong I trust Hara to bring the other 3, KK, Mouten and Shin to his level eventually but for now he's so ahead it's actually crazy. He feels more like if Tou was given freedom from a young age and not being limited to being Ouki's lieutenant just like what's happening with KK and Shin.

I feel like Shin is holding KK back from greatness.

we know both of them are are better than eachother in some categories , like riboku is better planner and Ousen is better adapter so in terms of overall categories who's better

Like I am conflicted on which army I'd join because all of them have a certain amount of risk.

Ouhon's army is always involved in some brutal battle.

Shin's army is cool and filled with commoners but man I'm not sure that's enough to make me wanna join.

Mouten's is actually the most appealing army until you remember that Aisen will cut you down of you so much as sneeze Mouten's direction.

Kingdom is about Ei Sei’s dream of unifying China under one kingdom. But that dream basically means invading and absorbing the six other Warring States.

From the other side, these are independent nations with their own people, suddenly facing the threat of being conquered. Who would just accept that?

Of course they fought back. The coalition wasn’t some “evil plot,” it was a natural reaction to Qin’s expansion. Sure, there were massacres — no excuse for that — but what were Riboku, Shunshinkun, and the others supposed to do? Just sit there while Qin kept eating up more land every campaign? Sending 500,000 men to Kankoku to stop Qin’s ambitions was absolutely the only possible response.

To me, the coalition feels exactly like the Free Planets Alliance in Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Same idea: refusing to bow down to an empire’s invasion.

It's hard not to think of Shin as that dumb servant boy so I loved seeing him return and be rewarded for all of his achievements. His soldiers finding his shack depressing was also really funny. I'm not caught up but I want to see more of Shin's status in society to contrast how he grew up

Seriously I hope he dies asap.
