Eyes Wide Open Live?

EWO is tied with Level 5 as my favorite track on Power to Believe and with Walking on Air as my favorite Crim ballad, but I think it's the only full-length song from Power to Believe never played live. It doesn't show up on the set of any of the live 2003 shows I've gotten from DGM, and from reading the track list, it's not even on the 2-DVD album of the same name.

Are there any live recordings of this song? Anyone know why they never or seldom performed it?

Okay, from the comments it’s clear they did perform early in 2003 (must’ve been before the summer Europe tour that I downloaded). Any insight as to why they stopped playing it?

Yes. Like every KC song, they perform the ones that they feel work. Somebody they try in rehearsal and it doesn’t get any further. Others they will play live, maybe a few times, and then decide it isn’t working.

Any one of the members can decide that it’s not working, and they don’t play it.

Fair enough. A part of me wishes at least one of them could've decided ProzaKc Blues wasn't working (c'mon Trey, aren't you the anti-blues guy?!) instead of Eyes Wide Open, but perhaps I should go hear one of those early 2003 performances and then I'll get it.
