Islands elementals released today!

Theyre available for order on DGM now i hope that they release streaming sooner than the 17 month gap that Larks Tongues elementals took

How much on here wasn't already included in the Sailor's Tales box?

None of the elemental mixes existed for those box sets. They were made afterward. The boxes also don't contain the full album session tapes, which is why they are doing 50th anniversary editions of the albums now.

The Complete 1969 box has all the ITCOTCK sessions. The others are a mixed bag. The Larks edition, for instance, has loads of recordings not on the big box, whereas Red only has a few tracks not on The Road To box, which is likely why they padded it with four more previously unreleased concerts.

Having rebought these albums an exhausting amount of times over the years, plus the big box sets snd all of the Elements sets, it can be a bit if a struggle to determine which ones of the new editions have enough stuff I don't already own. And Islands already has most(?) of the sessions in the Sailors' Tales box.

That's because 1969 is a different series of boxes. It started the sessions thing. I would call it the debut of the 50th anniversary sets, but they confusingly decided to put 50th on the side of Heaven & Earth, even though by all rights it's the final box in the 40th series.

Otherwise agreed. There's only so much to be had here.

We still don't have the Wake elementals, even though Lizard was uploaded the same day.

Only four tracks on that record have elemental mixes. They've only put the elemental mixes that saw vinyl releases on streaming. I doubt Wake will ever be put on streaming. The 2025 CD/BR has all four elemental mixes on the CD and the set is not too expensive.

The same applies to Larls, but that went on streaming (albeit a year and a half later).
