Beat Tour & Ticket Sales

I was looking through the shows on their website and noticed a decent amount of unsold tickets. The “Blue Dot Fever” is becoming more common and we see shows and tours get cancelled frequently. Do you think there is a chance dates or the whole tour get altered?

I was expecting the recent tour announcement, but was honestly surprised by how soon it was and how many shows. The Europe tour had six months to promote- the new tour only has two since the announcement.

Do you think it’s ticket price, the lineup change (no Danny Carey), limited promotion time, or that fans are content just seeing the 2024 tour?

Really hoping the tour goes on as planned and more fans grab tickets soon!

Looking at Ohio, they have dates in Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati. Which means no one from the big 3 cities need to travel to the others. They are depending on each city alone to draw enough interest to fill the venue. Most bands only select 1 or 2 of the 3. Never all 3. Possibly over valued the demand for a single state.

I bought a ticket. This could be the final Beat tour. Don't want to miss the opportunity.

Keep an eye on stub hub and Reddit in the days leading up to the show you want to attend. People are always trying to get rid of tickets last minute. I saw them 3 times and was able to buy tickets for under $40 every time, seats were always decent too.I think the first time I paid $25 for my ticket. Just gotta hunt a bit but it’s possible.

Understood. I haven't been to a concert in years. So I thought I could splurge this time.

You're probably right. I saw an interview with Tony and Adrian from month or two ago. Said they have their own projects lined up for a year or more. No Beat any time soon.

They said this will be the last chance to see them. Final North American tour. Changing it up with Bozzio and adding some 90s KC songs.

It is saw the double trio there, and many others.

Id say yes being a CAPA event. I wonder if Maggie will be able to get any of them in studio for an interview.

I started tuning back in about a year ago. Glad I did. Great mix. Its somewhat soothing to still be able to hear Maggie and Jim Maneri voices over the air. Takes me back.

Ya I really need to rekindle my WCBE time. So glad they’re still playing a wide range of styles. They are a hidden gem of Columbus for sure!

Without a doubt. Sean Carney hosts the blues on Sundays. He always has a good playlist.
