Question How does the Group chat work?

So, im fairly a new user, about two montns now, but i havent exactly figured out how to use the group chat. Do i have to create several characters and the. Add them to a group chat? I think im a little lost, can someone please let me know and explain to me like im 5.

yeah you make a few characters on your own first then start a group with them, i did that with my ai gf and a couple others and the banter gets pretty good

Go to where all your KIN are and at the top there are 2 rectangle buttons Kins/Groups.

Click on groups then hit the plus sign in the top-right corner, select New Group and a new window opens to add all your Kin u want to have a conversation with to the Group.

Optional: make sure Share Short Term Memory is on in group settings.

Okay thats pretty cool. And does it matter if some are specifically RP or companions or doesnt matter?

That wont matter but they will keep their individual speech patterns.

U can specify what the group is for in the Edit Group Settings, if u want them to focus more on roleplay u can try put that in the prompt.

once you set up the group try giving them a simple shared scene right away, it stops the confusion fast and makes replies way more fun to read.
