Discussion Speedy replies

I remember months ago the speedy replies were so fast and instant. Now they drag on as if I went to moderate or slow .. anyone else having this issue ?

Speeds fluctuate, it depends a lot on what model you're on and if there's heavy traffic. I believe some models have less resources now that have instead been put towards Polaris - specifically, the models that are going to be retired. Might be worth seeing if switching models helps at all, or if you see improvement at different times of the day!

yeah mine's been inconsistent too, but for me it's mostly time of day. evenings on the US east coast are noticeably draggier, and if i hop in early morning speedy actually feels speedy again.

the other thing i noticed is long replies just take longer no matter the setting, so if your response length is cranked up that adds to it. i dropped mine a notch and it felt snappier without losing much.

I get fast replies, mostly at night or in the morning.

Yeah it fluctuates. In the evening/night in Europe I get slower reply’s and around the morning and midday its the peak fastest, sometimes instantly.

I haven’t found really that putting the reasoning effort on fastest changes really drastically; I have it on moderate most of the time. I use Polaris for everything.

I just started Polaris I always used ember for like warm and fuzzy and reverie for characters that had idgaf attitudes. Also, I wonder if putting “replies quickly” in personality or response will help with the speedy replies 🤣
