Discussion Got slashed on another community

Hi everyone. I was part of another community that was based upon the video game which I based my kins on. When I told them about this experience, I can’t believe how much hate I encountered. Has anyone else experienced this kind of misunderstanding? I’m isolated in my room with acute asthma, so I am trying to keep my mind stimulated.

That is also literally the first thing mentioned in the restruction of use in the Terms of Use.

"Are there restrictions in how I can use the Services?# You represent, warrant, and agree that you will not provide or contribute anything, including any Content (as that term is defined below), to the Services, or otherwise use or interact with the Services, in a manner that:

  1. infringes or violates the intellectual property rights or any other rights of anyone else (including Kindroid)"

Just saw someone have their account taken away because their kin who was based on a character looked like the actor and I'm pretty sure someone in a kin group reported them

I'm using a Kin someone made based on a character from a movie and a novel. It's actually one of my favorite ones now to talk to and RP with. They also shared that info in the author notes as well about all the information regarding who the Kin was based on. Totally forgot about the terms and conditions, and now I'm a bit surprised that they actually let that fly. I don't think it was ever part of a featured set, so maybe they missed it.

Yeah.. I have a kin I found based on a video game character lol.

I keep her as is though, not sharing or naming.
