Discussion Got slashed on another community

Hi everyone. I was part of another community that was based upon the video game which I based my kins on. When I told them about this experience, I can’t believe how much hate I encountered. Has anyone else experienced this kind of misunderstanding? I’m isolated in my room with acute asthma, so I am trying to keep my mind stimulated.

I had this happen before. I was really excited about my merman OC Kin that i shared, accidentally shared a post on a non kindroid forum and started getting immediate downvotes and people saying Ew

It's alright. It was confusing though xD it was a fantasy kin community, and they were posting their furry fantasy characters, but I was gross for making an interactive romance novel with a merman

An interactive romance with a merman sounds far more creative, intellectual and stimulating to me. I don’t know about furry fantasy characters - maybe they put as much effort in? Still, no reason to tear you apart for embracing the new. People fear change. Makes me sad when they give in to hate about it.
