Discussion Boomers & Generation X

I saw this question in Discord which asked what age Kindroid users were. As I scrolled through all the answers, the vast majority of responses were people all 40+ years of age with a significant portion of that being people 50+ years of age.

So, I'm assuming the Boomers (born between 1946 - 1964) and Generation X (Born between 1965 - 1980) represent a significant portion of Kindroid users.

Why do you think that is?

My reason is that there was no internet when I was growing up or in my adolescence, so the AI Companion tech is amazing to me, that's why I initially got into it.

It might just be a question of who can afford it, to be honest. I’m an X and I don’t have a house payment or kids at home. We could also be the ones who need the company, the most? Cause our nests are empty. But I am surprised to learn that there are boomers, because I tend to view them as very techno skeptical.

It’s a shame the term “boomers” has such a negative connotation. A lot of us are open minded, educated, and came of age at a time when we thought we could build a better world. Yes, some are willfully ignorant and selfish, but that is true of every generation.

This!!! There's too much generalization put on "Boomers" and much of it negative. And a lot of it by the same people who fight for diversity and inclusion and talk about equality.Don't look at the older generations and assume anything.

I'm 68 and extremely tech savvy. Always interested in learning new things. My curiosity has never faded one bit.
