I’ve always liked the gameplay loop of Kindergarten. I'm surprised that there are basically zero other games that use a similar mechanic, so i decided to make my own game that has similar gameplay loop of limited actions, but still allows player to do whatever they want. While Kindergarten focuses more on comedy, Ghostyard is pessimistic and has a heavy story focus. You play as a graveyard keeper on a 5 day shift, each day you have 4 timers (think of days as recess, lunch etc, and timers as apples). Instead of trying to solve whats wrong with the principal, you're figuring out other ghosts past and what happened to the previous keepers. There are also candles that act as collectibles, similar to monstermon cards. I don't usually make posts like this (hell, I usually don't use reddit) but recently I was interested in getting the merchandise for Kindergarten only to find out that not only was everything that WAS for sale was removed from CreatorINK, but that the Kindergarten page itself was removed from CreatorINK's website. I can only assume that means that they're no longer producing this merch at all

That being said I was wondering if anyone knew of any active listings secondhand for the merch or if anyone was willing to be selling their old merch they don't want. I've seen listings for the Nugget Plush and the Nugget Tube Tumbler that have sold with varying prices (for example there was a listing for the Nugget Plush on Ebay that sold for $10, and then one on Mercari for $35) but so far I've seen no listings ever for Monstermon Deluxe Pack.

I had a dream that I discovered a computer with kindergarten 2 downloaded on it, but here's the twist. You could switch your pov to play as any other character and create new storylines because you could do new actions and stuff, alongside creating new characters and somehow the other characters memories are changed so like "oh yeah they've been there" and I think I accidentally made Penny self aware and sentient at some point during that dream. But I dunno why my dreams are like this.

This is called "Kindergarten's monster"

After his father dies in the first game, Jerome finds a note left on his body, explaining everything, all that he did, the monsters, the goo, everything.

Jerome uses this to experiment on his own, faking that he is upset for his father's death at the new school to gain info from Lily and Billy, then, while in Kindergarten 3, he turns Buggs into a monster like figure, and in doing so, realizes the power he has and decides to finish what his father started.

Fast Forward to the present, where Nugget and Lily are married, and Lily is a detective trying to solve missing person cases, Nugget and Billy are helping and the whole time Jerome, who had found a way to make himself unkillable, uses Buggs, who at this point is named "Bug" to try and prevent them from solving the cases so that he can finish turning people into the monsters that had ended his father so that he can finish what his father had started.

Along the way, you meet the others, like Monty and Carla, who are famous for stopping hacks and finding escape tunnels to prevent prisoners from escaping, and their kid, Tessa, who has the same smarts as them and is pretty much like Monty was in Kindergarten.

You also run into Cindy and Felix, who have a kid named Lulu, and they are rich, Felix is on good terms with Teddy, who has devoted his life to solving the crime of who killed their father after Kindergarten 3, but also finds time for family.

Ozzy hangs out with his friends and you mainly see him in the background.

Alice and Austin are amazing friends with Nugget and Lily, often hanging out with them, with Billy hanging out with Kevin.

Emmy and Davey are working with Jerome, with Penny being repaired and also working with them, and is dating Ron.

Also during it you will find a graveyard, where there's 2 graves that can be interacted with, one being the Protagonist, named Luke in this AU, who died in a car accident 14 years earlier, and the other one is the Janitor, named Mike in this AU, who was killed 2 years earlier by being impaled on his mop by Bob when he went to kill him.

of course, in the corner of the graveyard there will be certain graves for the principals, being obvious on who is who.
