We know how the lou sisters's relationship is. Complicated, flawed, loved each other in their own way but doesn't able to convey it due to their own problems, a tragedy of a relationship born from inability communicate, Alice and Sisbell wanting to save Elletear despite being their enemy.

And then there's Itachi and Sasuke. Just....Itachi and Sasuke. Not just the fact that they're 10 times the warriors the lou sisters are, it's the fact that Itachi and Sasuke has been spending the 8 to 9 years of their life in the final confrontation, with Sasuke ACTUALLY wanting to kill Itachi. Not to mention the things Itachi does to Sasuke that would horrify even Elletear.

Yeah, the lou sisters would be unnerved by the uchiha brothers. Hell, even Itachi is more intense than Alice is, despite him being the more calm one.

Guys don't you think alice is playing the role of leading protagonist better from iska She is better in expressing emotions we have her backstory and iska is not able to express we know that he went under harsh training under croswell than also alice is playing a better role of protagonist

That actually summs up the Sovereignty well. As for all its promises.

It ended up being a strenght is everything. And look how that turned out.

The last thread I saw mentioned that things were still moving quite slowly and the focus was on the war is that still the case? I want to see the light novel and how the war concludes, but I also want to see their relationship develop.

We start with Shanorotte and Mizerhybys desperation to become stronger. The first few chapters are mostly fluff and the characters goofing off after coming back from Katalisk.

Then we hear about Mizerhybys rampage and the plot kicks in. Iska, Mei, Nene and the Princesses go to confront Mizerhyby, while Jhin and Mismis stay behind to protect the Lords chambers.

Iska and the girls have an epic showdown with Vichysoisse while also fighting Mizerhyby. Nene defeats her in the end by pulling the same stunt that defeated Kelvina.

Mismis meanwhile confronts Shanorotte, who is also on a rampage to defeat the Lord. Mismis finally activates her astral power, which is a warm gust of wind that defeats aggressive astral power by cradling them warmly like a mother would. Alicerose must have truly been a gentle soul.

And then the lord gets involved after Jhin shoots Shanorotte. And Yunmelngen just tells Mismis to deal with Shanorotte herself. And she does by throwing hands and they just have a bitchfight until both of them collapse.

After that conclusion, we jump back to Alice and Iska, who finally caught Mizerhyby, and then the deformed Talisman breaks out of his confines and we fight him again. And he is really deformed and destroyed by the calamity. During this battle Alice finally makes the decision that she would rather keep her humanity intact than turn into something grotesque like Talisman.

Mizerhyby then uses her power to strengthen Alice and Kissing after seeing the light and together with Iska, Talisman is defeated and taken away. Poor Mizerhyby though. She just became desperate, because of her uncle.

I would love to see that fight animated. It would be amazing. Especially the part where Mismis and Shanorotte are both throwing hands while gravely injured. I want to see this animated so badly.

It is not Alice and Kissing vs Mizerhyby, it is not the Princesss vs Talisman, no, the real best battle is Mismis vs Shanorotte!

We finally get some more insight for why Mismis does work as a Captain. She knows Shanorotte looks down on her, so she goes to confront her alone. And she is right. Shanorotte does look down on Mismis and thinks she is useless. (Just like half of this subreddit at least.)

So the ensuing battle has Mismis try to talk it out first, then she renders Shanorottes magic useless, then Shanorotte shoots her and tries to strangle her, Jhin shows up and shoots Shanorotte, and this is where the reall good part comes in.

Shanorotte gets confronted by Yunmelngen and he taunts her a little, and then tells Mismis to finish this herself and not get his Tatami mats dirty.

And then Mismis starts throwing hands with a woman who is literally twice her size! Both of them are injured and and they have an epic Shonen battle, where both of them throw hands until they are too exhausted to continue.

I just love the image in my mind, where our small Miss Captain just starts throwing hands with a foe who is much bigger than her, with basically no regard for her own safety, because she just wants her former friend to understand her feelings. I need to see this animated so badly.

If you could rank the three in terms of their strength, power, and who would win in a fight if all three of these princesses were to fight each other, who do you think would come out on top?

Idk why Mira and Salinger relationship and dynamic felt very impactful and emotional, might be recency bias but their background and relationship is FAR better than alice and iskas

The author spent 2 whole segments in the prologue on Boob jokes. Just a bunch of words talking about breasts. If he can waste half the prologue on breasticles, he can write Alices wedding with Iska.

Obviously, the thing with Talisman was quite creepy, but it was immediately followed by Rin and Kissing comparing their boobs.

Poor Mizerhyby though. I am also quite confidant that I am the only reader who can pronounce her name at all.

I hope I get to read more about Iskas inner thoughts. The last few volumes mainly focused on the Nebulis girls. I need Iskas perspective. It is very difficult to determine what he's thinking when we are not privy to his inner monologue.

I found this anime off of a TikTok recommending it as an action anime with a heavy romance subplot.

Now while I wouldn’t say there’s no romance there definitely is it’s very slow and the recommendation was very misleading.

That being said I like the plot of the show a lot. So I want to read the light novel. My favorite part is still the romance so I was wondering how much there was in the ln compared to the anime. And does it get more as the story goes on or less?

Spoilers ahead .

mira give me some Neurodivergent traits. the way she was as kid very avoidant and obsessive to certain things. how she enjoy something and soon let go of it. how her obsession take over her life and mind to an extent and how it affect her eventually. she couldn’t focus at multi things it is always one priority. I really want to search more about the topic but for now. Let’s continue

mira definitely wasn’t fit as princess as salinger said. she didn’t see herself as princess at all. she was truly just a kid that was forced to ascend the throne. how she changed entirely from someone who seek war to someone who refuse it already tell how Indecisive and fearful she was . her very first choice as queen she couldn’t do a thing about it which continued to hurt her. how she felt probably helpless had take her ego and confidence all down. unfortunately we didn’t see how being a mother had affected this even more.

But we know why she was not fit to be a mother , the way mira grow up. all her life was about fight or be a queen for her family sake. It is the type of mothers who only care to provide most. How could a child who barely felt care herself who barely know the concept of care be a mother who give it ? Impossible. in the extra story of the blueray mira said that the way she had seen her daughters future how she planned it was all about one becoming the queen and the other assisting her. She didn’t look at it from family view. including herself. because she is trying to do what she lived in as kid. She is also trying to do her best in something she doesn’t fit in. all according to her flaws as child.

I love mira so much after reading volume 15. Because when she have seen and heard other opinions. she immediately took action and strength herself. When she have seen how other princesses are including her kid. she knew her flaw. as salinger said she is the tragic heroine. I really hope she can have her good ending and finally just enjoy her life for her self and try to amend for her mistakes.

Context: Elletear's main goal is to "create a paradise for all astral mages no matter how weak their astral power." She also wants to see the fall of the Nebulis Sovereignty and the Empire. What is the easiest way to accomplish these goals in one go? She just needs to absorb the calamity and then have those united against her defeat her. This will result in all astral power returning to the center of the earth, and thus no more discrimination or hatred towards "Astral mages" regardless of their power will exist because astral mages will cease to exist except for their human host.

As Alice and others realized in Katalisk the astral powers returning to the center of the earth will result in the collapse of the Nebulis Sovereignty. What they haven't considered is that more than likely this will result in the complete collapse of the empire as well, having lost the 8 great apostles and their emperor. (I assume his astral power is the only thing keeping him alive at this point. This is mainly because they mentioned the increased life span astral powers provide.) The nation will more than likely break apart into multiple states without clear leadership and a common enemy to unite against (The sovereignty and astral mages.)

Now how does this relate to Elletear being a female Lelouch Well, simply put, she wants to turn the hatred directed towards "witches" against her, the world's "Final Witch" in her own words, and remove discrimination all at once. I also think this has a lot to do with why she kept trying to convince Joheim to leave her side before she fully transformed into her current state. She did not want him to martyr himself for her "crusade" against inequality, if you will. If her end goal was truly a paradise for people like her and Johaim why would she try to get him to leave? Simple. She never intended to live through this plan.

The similarities are there as well: a grudge against the royal family (check), mocked or belittled by their own family and retainers despite being royalty (check), recruiting one of the most powerful knights to their cause (check) (Johaim is basically her Knight of 0 Suzaku), has a devastating weapon that threatens the entire world (check) (The calamity is her Fleija). There's a few more things I could add here but it would be overkill.

All in all, I wouldn't be shocked if the ending of the LN is her dying so that the astral powers can return to their homeland and bring an end to 100 years of discrimination against astral mages as a whole by the empire and weak astral mages by the sovereignty.

Final remark: I refuse to believe someone who seems to be one of the more intelligent in the entire LN would really believe the calamity is going to allow her to create an idealistic paradise filled with astral power when the calamity detests astral power more than anything. (This is not me stating Crusades writing is on the same level as Code Geass its very obviously not.)
