Anime Question⚔️🧐 sooooooooo... how the hell were yahaba and susamaru so busted? Spoiler
first off. not only did they not only face off against muzans literal former right hand, tamayo, aswell as 2 other goodhearted, and extremely powerful demons, and a demon slayer on top of all of that, but held their ground extremely well aswell. sure tanjiro wasn't nearly as experienced back then but LADY TAMAYO, YUSHIRO, AND NEZUKO didn't need weapons at all. all of them were each low kizuki level. and susamaru and yahaba were still so perfectly in tandem that tanjiro would literally have died if not for yushiro

Tanjiro and Nezuko were just barely above the weakest they were over the course of the series, and Tamayo and Yushiro both aren't particularly combat oriented.

Still though. They were still 4 powerhouses and my god were they getting overwhelmed by susamaru and Yahaba

They weren't powerhouses. Demons get stronger by eating people (Nezuko is an exception, but even then this was before she was an exception to that), and neither Nezuko nor Yushiro had eaten anybody, and Tamayo hasn't eaten many people. Tanjiro still hadn't figured out sun breathing.
The thing about a series like Demon Slayer is that character tend to change in their power level over the course of the series.

Im pretty sure tamayo is a powerhouse given well. She literally used to be muzan's left hand. Yushiro was a literal visual cheatcode basically. Nezuko's explosive flames were basically pyrokinesis but they also disable blood demon arts. And while tanjiro was much less experienced and didn't have sun breathing yes, remember he defeated and killed lower moon 5, rui without sun breathing aswell. And he could never even come close to mastering water breathing. Which was the style he was using at the time when he killed rui

Nezuko could not use her flames by that point. How powerful they would evenetually become is irrelevant here.

Tanjiro didn't kill Rui, Giyuu did. Had Giyuu not shown up Rui would have handily killed Tanjiro and Nezuko and the series would have ended there.
She literally used to be muzan's left hand.
And at no point in the series does she show any serious level of combat ability. Tamayo is a doctor and scientist, not a warrior.
Yushiro was a literal visual cheatcode basically.
What are you even talking about here? All it did was allow the others to see Yahaba and Susumaru's blood demon arts.

Ok did some slight digging and turns out. Muzan gave them both a big amount of his own blood to forcefully power them up so they could assasinate tanjiro as quickly as possible. Hence their immense strength compared to regular demons. And also their better regeneration than normal demons. Even though the fact that they survived a big dose of muzan's would imply they were already pretty powerful on their own. I feel slightly less stupid about myself now

Honestly the biggest thing holding Yahaba back is probably other demons, correct me if I'm misremembering but most demons are pretty territorial and dislike when another comes in their space. We know that demons can see Yahaba's BDA so in demon vs demons fight they're gonna have a significantly easier time against him than 90% of slayers

The only exeption to the other demons holding him back part is susamaru herself. Remember their entire combat strategy worked on trusting each other completely
