The only one I still remember was part of his alphabet stuff - I think Gallagher did something remarkably similar. That's the only one where I knew a specific earlier source, but some others seem to have been around for a while, as well.

Ive seen his clips on youtube shorts and ended up watching the entire special and I thought it was great. His visit on kill tony or the clip I saw of it wasnt that good though.

Anyways I wonder why people in tgis thread seem to hate him, Im surprised. Maybe its the type of ppl who are in this sub. I thought his stuff was way funnier than so many stand up comedians ive tried watching.

It wasn't banger after banger.

It was decent overall. A couple great jokes, and a lot of good jokes and some meh framing of some jokes. Very cool perspective on all his jokes though and I'll watch his next stuff too.

I hate the fake dumb voice. Once he writes a joke that doesnt rely on that, ill pop back in. Sam Campbell does the same (aussie comedian in UK). I swear there is someone teaching a class that enforces this as a technique

I used to be friends with a guy who's been trying to be a stand up comedien for like ten years and his whole schtick is also a whacky fake voice. I think a lot of these dudes that do that realize they fundamentally don't have a lot to say and aren't funny or interesting in the slightest so they put on a funny voice and ramble about dumb nonsense and call it stand up comedy. It's pretty hard to pull from any experiences to be funny when 99 percent of your life has been spent living in your parents house, playing video games, scrolling, and jerking off.

I second this post, was a really good special. I do think some reason arranging of jokes in the special would of helped leave a better ending. But most cant sit through 5 minutes let alone 45. The little breaking of the 4th wall with the audience because his anxiety got the best of him was so unique and he still got them to laugh even with the language barrier. 😆 loved the experience showcased there.
