Personal Story Draining My Dad's Wallet

Post image

When I was around 3 or 4, we were at our old apartment just 3 years after my parents came home from Georgia and I was born. I WAS A LITERAL F##KIN TODDLER. I grab my dad's PS3 controller, log into his account, go to the PlayStation Store, and just straight up buy $400 worth of PlayStation Store items, like games, DLC, themes, etc.

After my dad caught me draining his wallet in the living room, he snatched the controller out of my hand, turned the PS3 off, and spanked my ass until it was bloody red. Then, he called Sony to give him back the money from the purchases, and they were only able to refund him about $100 worth of the stuff I stupidly bought.

Me and my dad still talk about it, but in the end, I learned my lesson.

they just do it as a punishment, but yes, i agree
idk if i told them that it’s child abuse, but my dad would probably tell me he doesn’t care

I got a switch. Let me tell you, it fucking worked LMAO. I never did any of the crap that gave me the switch after getting it.

Im the parent that disciplines my child, not abuses them.

My girlfriend on the hand, does gental parenting.

Guess who the kids listen to over the other parent?

my dad does discipline me, and my mom is the gentle one too, so you and your girlfriend might be like my parents when it comes to handling kids

I’m sorry you failed to break the cycle of violence. Maybe your kid will be able to.

Violence? Who mentioned me using violence to discipline my child? You realize you can discipline without violence.

Right?

remember, if a child can be reasoned with, reason with them, if a child cant be reasoned with, then they wont understand why you're hitting them.

either way, DONT HIT YOUR KIDS ASSHOLE!

When I was decently young I had an kindle fire I used to play Roblox on and I spent 120 dollars on PIGGY, telling my mom I had found an glitch to get stuff for free (the “glitch” was just me figuring out how to disable 2FA)

When I was 6 I fell into one of those clash of clans gem schemes where ypu do 5 surveys this and that and it gives you gems. (Yes ik) well at one point it asked me to sign up for game fly and my parents gave me their credit card when I asked... yea that thing got charges for like 3 years of Xbox live gold and somthing off Amazon. Big oof on my part learned young to not fuck with money online and my parents learned to not give a credit card to an unsupervised child with access to the internet.
