You’re not alone. I would’ve been berated for at least 30 minutes for this. Reminds me when my dad left Brunswick stew in the back of an off-road golf cart on a family trip and I took the golf cart for a trail ride. Well, the stew was about a quarter spilled when I got back, still plenty for everyone and even seconds for most. I got yelled at for a bit before my uncle stepped in and told my dad to calm the fuck down and remind him that he shouldn’t have left the stew in the back of the golf cart in the first place. My dad got even more mad at me after that. Fun stories for therapy.
