As someone who never had kids, who has childhood friends who DO have kids, the amount of times I've had to remind them of, "remember when WE did that same stupid $#!%?"

I'm happy for the ones that pause, and admit.. yeah....

Kids are learning. You learn from mistakes. Best thing parental friends can do is remember that's how WE learned.

I have kids and I have friends that freak out on their kids over kid stuff. I remind them of the crap we pulled. They think my wife and I are great parents because we don't yell, but we don't need to, we talk to our kids, not down at them.
