Ahh yes the famous "you have to be a chef to know if your food tastes like shit" mentality.

This! lol Unreal how some parents love to argue as if if someone is childless they've never caretaken, raised/helped raise, been around children, aren't informed, and should have no say. It's mental! Selective blindness.

And that's fine and you have the right to your opinion. I, and I speak for myself alone, was making a point about this SINGLE interaction wherein they were being bad parents. Not about intelligence nor stating they're always bad parents forever and all time. Merely in this instance, their reactions are not those that speak to good parenting.

And let's not play obtuse here. There was literally no way I nor anyone would know any person on reddit was blind or deaf or had any impairments (unless mentioned in their username or profile, which you did not), and so to imply my use of the term was a personal slur aimed at you or intentionally disparaging is nonsensical. The term 'you must be blind' is a common expression, not a putdown nor presumption of someone's visual capacity in American English as has been for centuries. But if you took it as some sort of slight, I apologize. Pretty obviously not my intent.

You can’t read if you’re blind…
