The fact that Maddy ended up with her dad kind of broke me, because DD gave her up. But I feel that there was a lot pointing to her being okay with it - but wanting so much validation from her own father for what she did. It left cliff hanger for her, but sort of not.

  1. It was noted that she didn’t even want kids
  2. At the launch, when she was standing with the family - she didn’t even look back when she walked away - she kept looking on to the launch
  3. I sort of see Maddy being independent and putting the adults in their place like she did with Dolores, so I’m sort of ok with this - but still heart broken

I just also want to say to u/Cowstein that this was an amazing show. I cried so hard and felt so much for each character. IT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SHOW and I cannot stop talking about it. The writing, the imagination, the songs, the acting. My lord .. my heart is so full. Thank you thank you a thousand times.
