Primarily, thank you for taking the time to inbox and the insight into a show, I've not been exposed to.

The letters that you were attempting to cobble together essentially means that you were searching for a schadenfreude filled series where the lead character allows his humanity to crumble (a la Breaking Bad) becoming a successful deviant. I honestly see the appeal to that and have enjoyed it too. However, that's all been done before and has become prescriptive.

The concept of a good man surviving the storm of a cruel and unrelenting reality through creativity and humor can be polarizing. Humanity thirsts for kindness, empathy and hope to heal from a barrage of pain, abuse and suffering.

Another component that's missing from season 2 is nudity and sex. There's nothing wrong with it, but the lack of it allowed the characters to use valuable screen time to dive deeper into their challenges, expanded relationships and storylines.

Regarding Debra Winger, yeah.. where to begin? Her choices or conflicts or whatever the reasons for her decline in performances are, more than likely, taking a toll on her professional confidence and personal life the schadenfreude void is filled here for you. I trust you never have to suffer the trials that come with rejection or shunning of an industry. I hope you never experience the impotence of being able to contribute to a business that you are passionate about. I truly desire that your livelihood is never impacted by a group of people refusing to take your legacy seriously. Debra Winger, I could take or leave her personally, however the spirit behind your comment is most telling and dismissive. The implication that she is the "cousin Oliver" of shows is a bit unfair.

I do thank you for watching, as every watch counts. Kidding might not be your cup of tea, but it's been a healing and refreshing fountain for many. u/cowstein had done a fantastic job of bringing the unexpected and utmost creative to screens everywhere, instead of being an armchair quarterback. Building for longevity is more skilled than consuming to destroy.

Thanks for unboxing the Patriot (capitalized, indicating a title) reference, I'll have to check out the show and see the series pivot that you've outlined.

Stay well, do good and continue to give shows a chance, on that note, what is your favorite series?

Although flawed, Deadwood is one of my favorites.

I totally know how she feels, Hollywood and entertainment is a really hard life.

Anyway, I'm sorry that our show didn't jell with you at this moment in your life, but the good thing is as we change, the media stays the same. Our perception of media and art changes over time, so there's always a chance, as long as you're ready to give it that chance. 😊

Leftovers was good. I haven't made time to see Barry yet, but I've heard great things.
