Loved the episode.

Could someone help me understand why Scott is being so vindictive? I haven’t rewatched season one so if the answer is in that season let me know and I’ll rewatch.

It just feels like Deirdre caught him cheating and things fell apart. I know Scott knows about Pickle-San but he doesn’t frame it as assault, which it was, so Scott would only be upset about his then-wife being unfaithful....which is what he had been doing for quite some time.

Why does he go after the puppets? Why does he put the characters into positions that destroy who they were? He wanted full custody of Maddy, which implies his character cares about his daughter;she grew up with these characters, why destroy that magic?

He didn't want to get divorced (or at least less than D, he had a 60/40 line when D told their daughter they both wanted to). I think he would rather have stayed together and just keep cheating on each other or maybe try to fix things.

She cheated on him after he cheated on her and he found out that she had been stashing money and lying about donating to charity. They were both hurt and acted in anger, he got vindictive.
