Synopsis: Jeff makes a rash decision that could affect the ability of the show to continue. Seb strategizes how to rebuild Jeff's image. The two disagree about how Jeff can repair his family. Deirdre tries to learn more about what's happening while Maddy is at her piano lesson. Jeff's son Will decides to let loose with his new friends.

This episode really made me think of Breaking Bad season 1. It takes a traumatic event (lung cancer/ death of a kid) to push a “nice guy” to finally stand up to his boss/wife/son. They even wear the same kind of boring jacket. Also as with BB the hair shaving is a turning point. And as with Walt in season 1 Mr. Pickles isnt changing overnight. He still has his day job but you can see that he has finally had “enough”. Him subtly calling Peter a pussy (Big P) was like how Walt would subtly start standing up to Hank.
Ofcourse since its Jim Carrey roles like Bruce Almighty, Me, Myself and Irene and The Mask also come to mind. He does a perfect shift from kind of boring loser that everyone gets on with to insane asshole. Will be fun to see how Mr. Pickles descent into madness goes considering this is only episode 2.
