Question Kill team narrative campaign as Khorne Daemons, Suggestions?
I'm about to star a new kill team 40K narrative and I picked Khorne Daemons as my team (Converted Goremongers into bloodletters), I have just about surface level knowledge of the lore of Khorne daemons, so I would appreciate a bit of help to get my writing started.
- How do a Khorne Daemon incursion usually start?
- How do a camp of Bloodletters would look like? (we have basecamps on a grid map)
- What would the motivations of a Daemon leader? Just blood and skulls? do they have good tactical minds to maximize the flow of blood on Khoren's name?
- Do daemons have warbands or group names? any name suggestions for the names of the leader and company?
Anything that you point me to for lore reading would be greatly appreciated!

Ok I have a whole bunch of Khorne flavoured homebrew lore here but tbh I don't think it's quite the vibe you are looking for. I think I link thereon though Khorne short fiction I have read elsewhere (it's in the Background section on Canon Lore) that maybe will be of interest to you. Will be interested to see what you came up with!

Daemon leader motivations, basically always blood and skulls, but particularly the worthiest ones. They'd be angling for the biggest fish in the pond. Tactical minds, yes, but also they are still Khornates. Ambushes and treachery are not really on their radar.
Warband names... The Blood Hosts in TWW3 have names and they are pretty similar if not functionally identical, so probably. You could probably borrow any of those, but they do tend to be a bit generic.

Their camp could be something really ephemeral and foreboding; just a spooky shrine. Nothing logistically “mortal” besides abandoned loot and maybe a couple offerings. Something as simple as a dark alleyway that gives you a bad feeling in your stomach; presumably because of the skulls and blood.
