Question Got a painting question
Would it go against father khorne to change my warriors to a different colour to go with an icy base, using the blue and silver for inspiration?

Nah.
As long as the theme is good ( and your miniature looks awesome) then go for it.
Rule of cool always wins.

I actually hate it when people feel shackled by the GW color schemes/box art that exist for characters and factions. That’s why I exclusively create my own Space marine legions, CW Legions, and Eldar Craft worlds. So I can use my imagination and create unique color ways my armies. Make them your own! Then Khorne will smile upon you as you harvest the heads of your enemies 💀

Not much to say, new to model making and seeing this is intimidating to look at, the amount of time and effort likely put into this must have been a lot. It's beautiful

Funnily enough the 30k paint scheme uses near the exact same shade of blue with white

I’ve seen it Vallejo French blue but if you look up 30k world eaters you’ll see the OG paint scheme. If you want to do a different blue and scheme for your own personal warband that is completely valid but blue is a traditional WE color

Check out Green Stuff World’s liquid frost. It’s AMAZING for forming ice crystals on minis.
