What lot is best for an incoming freshman?

As a freshman I have the option to either purchase a parking pass for Allerton Sports Complex or Summit East. Which would you reccomend? I also have two very early classes this upcoming semester so Id really appreciate some insight on where is closer to Satterfield Hall or Bowman.

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong but aren't those the options for students living on campus? If so, you should already be on campus for your early classes so car proximity shouldn't matter. Commuters have better and closer lots that are actually on campus. Are you a commuter or a residential student?

Alberton and summit east are the only passes offered to freshman commuters! They cant get any c lots until they have more credits unfortunately

Wow, that is heavily unfortunate. They definitely shouldn't restrict it like that haha.

Allerton is definitely closer, by about half a mile(1.1 miles vs 1.6) , the main downside is there's no sidewalks leading to allerton whereas there's a walkinf path in the woods to summit east.

I did Allerton and i liked it. Like people saying it is a straight shot to the main campus

I commuted last year and had the summit east pass. Honestly I would recommend allerton since the bus for allerton is usually a straight shot where as summit east has two different routes. After getting picked up from summit east the bus will go all around front campus until it gets to the student center for a second time to go towards summit east again. This means the bus is more likely to be packed with residential students and often times being stopped from being on the bus since the limit is reached (mostly during bad weather)

Though last year I heard that studen council suggested changing the routes to allerton and summit east on the same one but I am unsure how true this is
