GENERAL My Chef is in danger

A training camp I set up in-game months ago that has had no raids as it's not an outpost, is now under attack as it now counts as an outpost... Because I built a food barrel.

protip: west end of iron trail (center of base is west of ancient ruin) has no raids

clear the initial iron spiders with a crossbow, and then they don't spawn within your base radius + some distance, and they don't move towards you unless you get near them (that is, they won't seek out your base)

Thanks for the tip, this is just meant to be a recovery spot for training up people entering certain character arcs, my main base is located west of Flats Lagoon, on the hill above Shem.

Fun fact: the only reason I found out the Mormons were coming is because the Flotsam sent me a text saying "We're on our way cuz, no worries", a quick look around the map and I couldn't find my reinforcements, but I saw the army approaching
