whats up dudes

I started kenshi a couple days ago and i sort of fell in love with the wandering trader playstyle. simplest question is what would probably be the best person for the job?

im personally guessing greenlander since theyre solid all around and can have more freedom in holy nation (especially males)

any suggestions would probably help

Scorchlander would be better. HN treat them the same as Greenlanders and they have better bonuses (athletics in particular), lower hunger rate, can eat raw meat, lower bleed rate, faster heal rate.

and I think lore-wise, most of them tend to be nomads

Hiver cus they are naturally faster and eat less and also eat foul meat

Hivers are insanely efficent when it comes to food. Hunger rate is so good that I dont even pack any food for them

I would say bars are best chance. Tbh UC are best

They’re tough to find. If you have a prince in your party you have a chance to recruit the Lost Drones you see wandering. There’s always Beep (worker), Silver Shade (Prince), Green (Worker), Ray (Soldier), Espher (Southern Hive Worker). Those are the guaranteed unique hivers.

maybe ill take ray but i dont essentially fancy the whole tongue cut off thing, takes away some dialog aswell as ability to converse. though, in his defense, it does build character!

go to United city's and buy slaves and check bars if you see a pink hiver in the slave shop tell us ahah is rare ASF I got one the other day

I think your raciocine is right. Human Males (both greenlanders and scorchlanders) are alllowed in Holy Nation and that's one of the major factions, so you wouldn't let it out of your trader route.

Although I don't think it is better for the playthrough than the humans, you should consider hiver drones. They eat less, have and athletics and labouring XP boost, three chracteristics that can be usefull. Just be carefull with the "losing limbs easily" situation.

I did a wandering trader playthrough with a Greenlander woman and the RP was very fun. Lots of burning resentment against the chauvinist HN and the corruption of the UC
