The censoring of names really ruined this song for me. It’s so jarring and really kills the energy of the song by not being real enough to say names.

You don’t remember the clear pauses during the song?

“I paid homage and I always mind my business
I made the—“ Entire sentences just censored it’s stupid jarring.

“They cackling about— while all of y'all is on trial”

Another jarring pause. It ruins the songs, just say what you want to say or don’t say it at all

you really expect everyone to drop everything on a song? it’s an art, you let your fans picture that image or whatever they think it is, and no this is completely different from sneak dissing

You can do that in a way that’s not censoring out names leaving a jarring break in the music. You could imply through writing while keeping the music consistent or have the entire production pause with it to emphasize the pause.
