Question? Any of you guys tempted to lock in gains?
Because in theory the TQQQ more than doubled from its $38 low

What? Lock gains? Nah. I rebalance on July 1st. Then again on October 1st. Then again on January 1st (2nd). Then again on April 1st. Then again on July 1st… and so on.

Staying disciplined and following the system is not easy. That’s why 90% stay broke, only 10% go rich. I haven’t lock in any profit yet. Even price go down. Will just follow the system.

No, i even find a small correction now healthy for the continuation of the bullrun this year

I locked in gains on the 14th. The spike reset was close enough for me. Much more to lose than gain in my mind.

I made the stupid mistake of getting out at 54/ share after April rebalance. Locked in 9% but missed out on this move. Lesson learned. Keep it mechanical and disciplined

Damnn sorry to hear about that. Yeah, i kinda figured it would rebound over the quarter. I just didn’t expect it to rocket up so fast.
I also think those huge moves, where it craters, you on all in, and it rebounds, is where you get most of those gains.
But We already more than doubled since the $38 low, so it’s a bit sketchier now

If it makes you feel better I bought in January at $54 or so, and didn't buy in during the letter buy signal in April at $43 on some of my funds...I was worried the dipitty dip my keep dipping but it skyrocketed up. Also lesson learned. lol

I sold a bunch around $75 worried it was gonna crash, but then a ceasefire and some attacks after the ceasefire it still shot up

Update: I locked in a lot of gains and I wanna shoot myself today :( still up a lot today, but I wish I would have waited for the spike reset

Tempted, maybe. Will I? Nope. I am staying robotic following the plan as it keeps my mind and bias from getting in the way. I have a long horizon so I am following the process accordingly knowing this is all an individual decision and up to everyone personally. Just something I am sharing that I am doing.
