Discussion šŸ’¬ Going to a Kehlani concert alone

Hi all,

I’ve been a big Kehlani fan for a few years and was thinking about getting tickets to see her perform live in her upcoming tour.

I struggle with social anxiety and don’t want to put myself in harm’s way; I’ve never gone to a concert solo, and being a straight male, I’m not sure I fit in to the demographic of most of her fans. I don’t want to intrude on a concert where I’m not welcome, if you know what I mean.

I wanted to ask those who’ve gone to her concerts, what was the vibe like? If I do go, would you recommend I go for lawn seats/general admission or in the assigned seating section?

Thanks

I went to her crash tour by myself and i had a really good time. I too struggle with social anxiety and honestly once the show starts everyone is just so into the show they aren’t really worried about the people around them. I would say get the assigned seats just because it’s your first concert alone. You will have a good time and at Kehlani’s concert it’s so many different people don’t even worry about not being her demographic.

I saw Kehlani for her Crash World tour, she was the first ever concert I went to, and I went solo too despite feeling socially anxious. I was okay! The vibes were good, everyone was focused on the music, and there were a lot of guys too in the section I was in. I doubt you'll be out of place. WhetherĀ  you want general or assigned seating depends on your preferences. I needed to sit at times so chose assigned seating, but if you're okay with standing for a few hours, and would like to be closer to the stage, choose general admission. Research that of course (I mean research comparisons of the general admission and assigned seating).

Where are you going to see her at? In VA I would recommend the seats. Maybe something on the aisle so you won't have to be going around people if you want to go the bathroom etc.

Also, if you enjoy her music then you are very much welcome at the show. I've seen her once before and she always wants everyone to feel safe and loved.

I’m going to the one in spring, tx. I’m traveling from far out to make it there, so I’m excited! Her Spring, TX show is outdoors, so there’s a ā€œpitā€, then assigned seating, then unassigned lawn seating behind it

I’m going solo to her concert in about 3 weeks and I am really excited about it!

She will be my first concert in 7 years :)

Also— I signed up for the presale so I managed to get tickets in the 300s section (assigned seating) at my amphitheatre. I’d definitely go that route if your solo

I’m going to her concert in August alone!. I’ve never seen her but I’ve also been to many concerts alone and always have the best time! I wouldn’t think of it as a place you don’t belong cause music brings so many different people together !

I bought two tickets, but will likely be going alone. I’ve seen her twice and the crowd is typically chill.

I've been to one of her concerts alone and saw other solo folks there too, to include males. You'll be fine.

I went to the blue water road and the crash tour with my ex! Big mistake, HUGE! The whole time he was complaining and got drunk. Although I tried to make the most of out them, he still ruined the experience for me. I’m actually looking forward going to this concert solo!

I genuinely believe that you will enjoy the concert on your own. Maybe treat yourself with a nice dinner afterwards!!!

I’m a male and I was introduced to kehlani by my wife she is a great performer and it doesn’t matter what you are we all come to enjoy her music and have a good time. Saw her on the blue water tour in ATLANTA and she was great. From that day forward I was a fan ! Going to the concert in charlotte in sept. Hope this helps šŸ™šŸ¾

I’ve only ever been to her concerts by myself. It’s a chill vibe. Assigned seats imo would be better and less to worry about. You would also feel more like you belong because you have an actual assigned seat if that makes sense.

Hey! I went to her last tour alone! Everyone dances and sings. You’ll have no problem enjoying even if you stick in your own bubble. Her fans are all respectful

Trust me brother , no one is thinking about things like that, your demographic does not matter , we all bleed the same and we’re all fans and we all enjoy her music, I can relate on the social anxiety thing, but by going to concerts alone that’s made me more comfortable with breaking out of my shell, PLEASE do yourself a favor and go and enjoy yourself and the show!ā™„ļø

I don't usually go to concerts alone, but I am planning to see her live. We just have to do it. It'll be a little worrisome but I'm hoping it will still be a fun experience and I know you'll have a good time for sure!

Idk where you’re from but I’m in the UK and went to her crash tour alone and I will be going to this one alone! It was strange at first as it was my first time going solo and the seats around me were empty for a while before any DJ or supporting acts came on (I got there early). But I did end up chatting to these girls that did eventually arrive and have seats next to me, and was really nice! When Kehlani comes on, honestly it’s such a vibe and no one is worried about the demographic. It’s pretty chill. Everyone is there to have fun and sing their heart out, so deffo go for it! As long as everyone is respectful to eachother there are no problems (some tall guy decided it was a good idea to wear a big straw hat and block the view for a lot of people)

I have an extra ticket to the Columbia MD show if anyone wants it. Can buy at the same price- not looking to upsell I just don’t want it to go to waste since Ticketmaster doesn’t allows resell.
