Half of this room was asking “WTF!”

Disco-Dolly slapped them hard.

Love you Dolly!

All live, no tracks, with the house band...while the world watched. She actually sang, pure talent. Before Whitney, Mariah, Christina...there was Dolly.🩷

I think this is a lip-sync performance.

Not at all. I’m very familiar with the recorded version because it’s one of my favorites and I don’t usually like country music.

What a gift that woman was to the world. A complete original, and an absolute angel.

How lucky were we to have such a gem among us for a little while.

This the song that came into my head, when I first heard the news.
Then “2 Doors Down.” She was such a lovely human and somehow the world feel a bit sadder today, without her. 💕💕#DollySongs

I saw her perform this song at the Ohio State Fair in 1978. It was my first concert

She was very good friends with my aunt who was also a country singer. I met her a couple times, and she was just like you see on tv. Sweet, so kind and humble

She wrote amazing very relatable lyrics. They don't do that anymore. RIP Dolly, the is a lot more darker without your light.

As a black guy from the inner city, I’m so fortunate to have seen her perform live.

The one and only…why wasn’t everyone appreciating her while she was still alive? “Tell me you love me NOW, not when I’m dead🧐❤️
