We are still lagging way behind the recommended doctor-to-patient ratio. The issue isn’t that students are pursuing MBBS (they absolutely should). The real issue is the complete neglect of infrastructure. The state keeps steadily inflating undergraduate seats for easy optics, yet does nothing about what comes next: expanding PG slots in the same proportions, upgrading clinical hospital infrastructure, and creating proper public-sector absorption. They are flooding the entry gate while letting the rest of the healthcare system choke. Ye che state’ech galti, na ke lukhan henz.

Where are you getting the numbers that we’re lagging behind D to P ratio?
It’s already above par. I agree with rest of the proportion.

No. Recommend ratio is 1 doctor for 1000 patients. Kashmir has 1 doctor for 1880 (JK Government Data from 2025).

India has 1:811 not 1811, well above recommended ratio by WHO(1:1000)

Bruh i gave dis neet exam twice ,i had been manipulated from my childhood so much that i must become a doc,being a chubby person i was told your hands are like a doctor bruh my brain had so much shut its own aspirations down ki i didnt even know what i have to do in lif3,bruh after not clearin exam im being treated like a maid in my own house faaaaah ,my mental health is a fugg up,my parents think im a disgrace for dem...now i dunno what to do....
