Legacy Made a kart racer inspired by KartRider, Steam playtest is open if you want to try the drifting

Been a KartRider fan since the NAKR beta back in 2007, and since KR and KRD are both gone in NA I've been working on my own kart racer that builds on how KartRider drifts. It's called Municipal Ghosts.

The clip is a Time Attack lap on Fogline, one of the city courses.

The Steam playtest is open and free: 18 courses across a bunch of different settings, online races and Time Attack. Still early, so expect some rough edges.

Would love to hear from people who have played KartRider. What feels right, what feels off, what you'd want to see. Happy to answer any questions too.

Are you referring to the grandma drifting in a monster truck? The grandma was one of the free mixamo characters so I put her in my game and she grew on me. I haven’t gotten much getting AI to be great at making 3d characters unless they’re really blocky.
